Privacy Policy

SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc. (“the Company”) is aware of its extremely important responsibilities concerning the protection of personal information, and in order to fulfill those responsibilities, shall establish the basic policy on the protection of personal information set forth below, create a personal information protection management system, and thoroughly familiarize all of its personnel and affiliates with the policy and management system.

Basic Policy on the Protection of Personal Information

The Company shall comply with laws, ordinances and rules (guidelines, etc.), contracts, and related regulations, etc. concerning the protection of personal information, and shall promote the proper use and management of personal information.

When acquiring personal information, the Company shall, as a rule, give prior notice thereof as a general principle, the scope of the purpose of use (purpose of acquisition), limits on joint use/scope of provision and a point of contract for complaints and inquiries (established at each group company) etc., (including also public notice on the Company website).

The Company shall appoint a person to be in charge of the management of personal information protection, and shall educate all officers and employees of the Company and related parties, including subcontractors, in order to protect personal information thoroughly.

4.

In regard to managing personal information, the Company shall take reasonable measures to prevent use for purposes other than those stipulated, unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering, leaking, etc. and shall appropriately implement corrective and preventive measures. The Company shall appropriately supervise subcontractors who treat information asset by standards which the Company established.

The Company shall conduct regular internal audit regarding the protection of personal information assess whether employees comply with related laws, rules (guidelines, etc.), contracts, and related regulations, etc., make improvements, and strive to increase the effectiveness and reliability of the Company's system through preventive and corrective measures, etc.

6.

The Company shall continue improving its personal information protection management system in light of trends in information technology and society and other changes in the external environment, as well as organizational changes and other changes in the internal environment.

7.

Violations of related laws, rules (guidelines, etc.), contracts, or related regulations, etc., shall be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the stipulations of the Company's employment regulations.

Handling of Personal Information

1. Scope of the Purpose of Use of Personal Information

Except in cases prescribed by laws and regulations, SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc. ("the Company") shall only use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use provided below.

■Purpose of use of the personal information on shareholders, institutional investors and analysts, subscribers to the e-mail distribution service and other parties offering personal information to the Company.

  • * Other parties offering personal information: Responses to inquiries

2. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Except in cases prescribed by laws and regulations, the Company shall not provide third parties with personal information without the prior consent of the person in question.

3. Outsourcing of Work Involving Personal Information

Personal information held by the Company may be provided for information processing and other purposes. The Company shall only select outsourcing companies that fulfill the selection criteria established by the Company for managing personal information, and shall undertake appropriate management and monitoring.

4. Personal Information Details

Regarding shareholders, institutional investors and analysts, subscribers to the e-mail distribution service and other parties offering personal information to the Company, the Company shall obtain the minimum amount of personal information necessary to conduct its business.

5. Disclosure/Correction (Addition/Removal) of Personal Information, Discontinuation of Use (Deletion), Termination of Provision to Third Parties

  3. [3]Please fill in the required items on the request form and mail it to the customer service representative in the aforementioned 5 (1).
        (Please attach the proof of identification issued by a public authority, such as a copy of a driver’s license or health insurance card.)
  4. [4]The request shall be verified and properly handled without delay. In principle, the Company’s replies will be sent by letter
        (to the registered address). In the event that a request cannot be granted, you will be notified of the reason. Note: Please contact the
        customer service representative in the aforementioned 5 (1) directly regarding the procedure if you wish to make a request by proxy.
  5. [5]For the request items in the aforementioned 5 (2), there is a processing fee of ¥525 for each disclosure request for [1] and [2].
        The method of payment is described on the invoice that is enclosed with the reply from the Company.

6. Complaints and Consultations Regarding Personal Information

Complaints and consultation related to personal information are handled by the customer service representative indicated above (5.(1) Customer service representative).

7. Period of Holding Personal Information

  1. [1]The period of holding personal information shall be the shortest time period stipulated in laws and regulations etc., and necessary
        for the Company's business.
  2. [2]Personal information shall be completely erased after the retention period has passed or after its purpose of use has been accomplished.

8. Use of Cookies

The Company may use Cookies to collect certain information for use in analyzing customers’ use of our website. Such analysis shall not include any personal information that could be used to identify the customers.

The Company reviews and amends this privacy policy accordingly. If amended, the policy on this page is immediately revised.
